The Diamond Science Bowl Club welcomes science enthusiasts who are quick thinkers and like to study hard while building friendships. The club prepares students for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) National Science Bowl®. This is a nationwide academic competition that tests students’ knowledge in all areas of science and mathematics. Teams of 4-5 students participate at the Regional competition, held at MIT in February, in fast-paced question-and-answer rounds on a range of topics from biology, chemistry, Earth science, physics, energy studies and math.

The club meets in room 2007 and is supervised by Mrs. Burgin and LHS student volunteers. To join the email list for notifications send an email to stemdiamond. To learn more visit www.diamondscience.org for tryout schedules and other resources.
