The Middle School Social Studies department at Lexington Public Schools—serving Clarke and Diamond middle schools—prepares students to be informed, engaged global citizens. Through inquiry-based learning, 6th through 8th graders examine world geography, ancient civilizations, civic responsibility, and American history, developing critical thinking, source analysis, and diverse historical perspectives.
