Information about Chromebook Distribution on Sept. 11

Chromebooks for all incoming 6th and 7th graders will be distributed curbside next Friday, September 11th according to the following schedule:

9:00-10:00 – Last Names A-F

10:00-11:00 – Last Names G-L

11:00-Noon – Last Names M-R

Noon-1:00 – Last Names S-Z

During your scheduled pickup time, we ask that you enter the school parking lot using the Brookside Avenue entrance and stop by the auditorium/gym doors. There will be a table set up there, and a volunteer will give you a bag with your child’s Chromebook and charger. It would help us if you had the names of your child/children written clearly on a piece of paper for us to read when you arrive.

A few notes, in anticipation of your most likely questions:

• Students may walk/bike to school to pick up their Chromebook on Friday.
• If your family has children with different last names, feel free to come during either of the assigned hours.
• If your family is unable to arrive during or close to your assigned hour, please contact Laura Schroeder, who will work out an alternate pick-up time with you. Her email address is lschroeder@lexingtonma.org

All 7th and 8th grade students new to Clarke will be invited to attend a new student orientation with their school counselor (to be explained in an upcoming email to those families). Chromebooks will be given to 7th and 8th graders who are new to Clarke during this orientation.
