Those riding along the Minuteman Bikeway have easy access to this 17.7 acre property. The land was swampy and overgrown when the Conservation Commission purchased it in the late 1970s. They built the pond, graded the meadow, and created the lovely park-like mood that so many enjoy today. North Lexington Brook courses through this area, which contains the last important wetlands in the upper reaches of the stream. The name refers to Jonas Parker, a previous owner of the land, who died in the Battle of Lexington on April 19, 1775.
