Ms. Jing-hua Gao Dalia began her art study at the age of nine with Gao Yi-hung, her father, a prominent Chinese artist and calligraphy master to Chiang Kai-shek’s son, Chiang Ching-guo, the President of the Republic of China. She also had the unique opportunity to study with some of China’s most outstanding watercolorists.

Ms. Gao Dalia has a Fine Arts degree from National Taiwan Normal University and two years in the graduate art program at the University of Hawaii. In 1996, she was honored for her art work by Madam Lien, the wife of the Republic of China's former Vice-President Dr. Lien Zhan

At the Copley Society of Boston, the oldest art society in the US, she was the first Chinese artist to be honored with both a solo exhibition and a Master Workshop program. She also had solo exhibitions at the Sharon Arts Center, NH and the DeCordova Museum, MA. Her paintings have been exhibited at such prestigious venues as the Lincoln Center and the Soho Art Museum, New York; the Library of Congress, Washington, D.C.; Bower Museum, California; and Currier Museum of Art, NH.
